mother’s day tea party
i hosted an afternoon tea party for mother’s day. we had a variety of light bites in true tea party fashion. everything was simple and easy to prepare. this spread had more than enough food for my family of three.
i wanted to utilize tableware i already have, so when i didn’t have any matching teacups, i opted for stemless glassware.
from left to right: berry chiffon cake from whole foods, prosciutto and arugula sandwiches, cucumber and chive sandwiches, charcuterie board featuring sliced apples, gouda, pomegranate seeds, assorted crackers, cherry tomatoes, grapes, pistachio nuts, green olives, brie, manuka honey, sharp cheddar, assorted salami, dried apricots, boursin garlic & fine herbs cheese, and asiago
let me know what you think of the spread!
